The North Rhine Westphalia Environment Minister Ursula Heinen-Esser paid us a visit on December 3, 2021. The Minister visited the new building Plant, which was completed at the beginning of the year and has just been occupied, and which houses the company's spare parts logistics and research & development departments.

BOLL & KIRCH has developed a highly effective process for the fine filtration of microplastics from (drinking) water, which has already found its way into various environmental protection and sustainability projects. In addition, a completely new, state-of-the-art membrane production facility is being built here, which will lead directly to the creation of new and sustainable industrial jobs on site once series production begins.

"I am very impressed by the company's performance and high degree of innovation - especially in future-oriented areas of environmental technology and resource conservation. BOLL & KIRCH shows that the world market leaders based here can make a very decisive contribution to the success of structural change in the region," says NRW Environment Minister Ursula Heinen-Esser. The new type of membrane production developed here on site and brought to series production readiness is a striking example of how technical innovations directly create new jobs in sustainable areas," Heinen-Esser continued.
