Cat fines, short for catalytic fines, are abrasive particles found in fuel oils that can cause serious damage to engines and equipment. These fines are a byproduct of the refining process and can lead to increased wear and tear, decreased engine efficiency, and even catastrophic engine failures if not properly addressed.
