BOLLFILTER FineFilter Flatsheet Plants

Reliable filtration solutions for complex industrial applications

The BOLLFILTER FineFiltrationUnit (FFU) uses advanced ceramic flat sheet membranes made of silicon carbide (SiC), which are operated in a submerged dead-end mode. The FineFiltrationUnit and the membranes are specially designed to treat wastewater from various industrial processes by removing suspended particles, oils, and large biological structures such as bacteria.

Features of the BOLLFILTER FineFiltrationUnit

  • High-performance systems for ceramic membranes

Our FFU systems are specially designed for use with ceramic BOLL ultrafiltration membranes, which operate in the submerged outside-in filtration process. Both the system technology and the membrane properties - such as the pore size - can be flexibly adapted to ensure optimum filtration performance for a wide range of applications.

  • Low energy requirement:

Thanks to its submerged dead-end filtration operation without cross-flow, the energy requirement per cubic meter of filtered water is particularly low, which is especially suitable for large volume flows of moderately contaminated water.
