The BOLLFILTER FineFiltrationUnit (FFU) uses advanced tubular ceramic membranes made of silicon carbide (SiC), which are operated in a cross-flow filtration mode. The FineFiltrationUnit and membranes are specifically designed to treat wastewater from various industrial processes by removing suspended particles, oils and large biological structures such as bacteria.

High-performance systems for ceramic membranes: Our FFUs are designed for the installation of ceramic BOLL ultrafiltration membranes that are operated in inside-out filtration mode. By adjusting the process parameters of the system or the membrane properties such as pore size and channel geometry, the membranes can be adapted to the specific requirements of the respective application.

Robust and durable: Thanks to their tubular geometry and the cross-flow operating principle, these membranes are ideal for demanding industrial applications with high dirt loads, aggressive process media and challenging physical conditions. All measuring instruments, sensors, pumps and other materials are matched to the area of application.

Safe handling: The process medium is kept in a closed space during filtration, which prevents contamination from the environment or operator exposure to harmful substances. Safe handling, even during the CIP cleaning process, is guaranteed at all times.
